Special Education at Collegiate
Collegiate Academy's small community and commitment to small classes and ideal teacher to student ratios allow our staff to meet many needs of students on Individual Educational Plans.
Our Learning Specialists support students in grades K-7 and 8-12, respectively, along with special education paraprofessionals and special service providers including a School Psychologist, Speech Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist. This dedicated team gets to know each child's individual needs, strengths and challenges and provides wraparound services to both support and challenge at the same time.
Our Special Education team's goal is to ensure that each student can access learning and experience growth and success in the least restrictive environment. We work to build each student's skills and capacity in a personalized plan to allow that student to increase competency with the goal of full independence.
