Help Secure Donated Staff Meals

CAC provides meals for approximately 40 teachers and staff during parent-teacher conferences and Teacher Appreciation Week.

We are seeking volunteers to contact local restaurants and businesses to request fully donated meals, meal sponsorships or gift cards sufficient to cover a staff meal.

CAC has a prepared donation-request letter volunteers can use. This outreach can be completed from home. Volunteers should expect that multiple requests may be necessary before a donation is secured.

Volunteer Coordinator or Co-Coordinators

CAC is seeking one Volunteer Coordinator or two Co-Coordinators to help organize and communicate volunteer opportunities throughout the school year.

This is a significant leadership role requiring approximately 10–15 hours per month, although two volunteers may divide the responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include:

• Serving as the central contact for schoolwide volunteer needs
• Coordinating with administration, school committees, student councils and the CAC Foundation
• Maintaining current volunteer opportunities on the CAC website
• Creating or coordinating event-specific volunteer and donation signups
• Sharing volunteer needs through the FYI
• Helping prevent overlapping or competing requests
• Following up with volunteers when specific needs arise

The Volunteer Coordinator supports communication and coordination. The role is not expected to personally plan every event or fill unclaimed volunteer positions.

Refer a Family

If you refer a student who enrolls, you will receive 40 volunteer hours for the year. That's a full year's requirement in one easy step, and you'll be helping grow our wonderful school community!
